Making Contact: 3 Mindblowing Secrets

Whenever I teach my yearly “Date for Your Soulmate” Telecourse,  peoples’ minds are blown at how easy it is to make contact once you gain a little know how. It is easier than you think to become a master connector so that after a conversation, someone simply cannot get you out of their head.

Here are 3 ways to make contact with someone you find attractive.

     1. Eyes – establish eye contact. Look into the other person’s orbs to find the sacredness therein, and it fosters an amazingly deep connection. As you enter a conversation, focus your attention fully on the other person. Do not look away. Don’t check your cell or glance around the room. Act like they are the most fascinating person in the world.

2. Words – start a conversation – even if it is mundane. A
recent success story (from the above-mentioned telecourse) is a shy woman who finally broke out of her shell to speak to a handsome man in an elevator with her. It made the ride much less awkward, and he appreciated the contact. This chit chat fostered a relationship that is still going strong (& getting serious).

Listen more than you talk – with positive regard, even fondness. Look for similarities the two of you have. Smile and instead of trying to be a wit, foster understanding, and the results will be very pleasing to you.

3. Touch. We all like to be touched. And reaching out to another enriches any connection immensely and can foster chemistry, as well. Never cling or get needy, but from a space of wanting further contact, put your hand on the person’s forearm in a gesture of understanding as you converse. It might feel forced at first, but this will start feeling more natural to you.

There are times when your touch – just a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder or a quick caress on the head – will be more powerful than any words you could say.

These three easy ways of making contact come from the method that I teach called “Soulmate Level of Attraction.” As you inhabit that level, you become the most charismatic person in a room, no matter how shy or introverted you’ve been in the past.

To go deeper into this work (making contact is the biggest block many have to love), do join me for my upcoming free teleseminar called “5 Irresistible Ways to Connect.” You can reserve your space by clicking here or visiting the below link: http://www.kathrynalice.com/events.htm#200

Recovering from Valentines Day

0

For people who are with their soulmates, Valentine’s Day can be a non-issue. Every day feels like Valentine’s Day, and there are so many occasions – anniversary, holidays, birthdays – that not all need to be super special and some of the most romantic times arise unexpectedly.

Those who seem to suffer the most are people who don’t yet have their Valentine (and I would look at it THAT way – that your Valentine is on the way but not here yet). Why?

If you’re not with your valentine, you can feel left out. People around you might be getting flowers or going out but you’re not.

My Recommendations
1. Remind yourself that when your One comes along, it will make up for every single bad V. Day you’ve ever had. You’ll be too busy being happy to even remember this one.

2. Go ahead and further the “soul call” that I hope you’ve sent (if you do my work, you have) by buying a card or gift for the love of your life in advance. It’s an affirmation for what’s coming and it’s super fun to give your love this gift next year or even on your wedding day.

3. Affirm that by next Valentines Day, you will have romantic time with your One and be glad this year has passed.

For a bit of cheer, in the event youre still RECOVERING from this holiday, check out my uplifting Valentines Video by clicking the link to be reassured that love is on its way and youre FINE (the truth).

love,
Kathryn

Boating in Barbados
I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day! As I write, were just ending our 2 weeks in Barbados, after enjoying Jamaica for 5 weeks. Next up is St Lucia, where well spend a month. I have to admit that exploring the Caribbean this winter is the best romantic gift a gal could ask for from her soulmate (thanks, honey!)

Valentines Day Shopping Tips From Christina Kelly

0

By Katie Onson

For many people, shopping during Valentines Day can be one of the most challenging endeavors in the world. After all, you may not know what to get your loved ones, which is where a bit of advice could be handy. Fortunately, Christina Kelly and others can provide ample information, especially when it comes to fashion. If youd like to make this Valentines Day as special as it can be, here are a few shopping tips that you can benefit from.

To start off, try to focus on what your loved one wears the most. Does he or she prefer leather jackets? Maybe theyre more interested in jewelry. Whatever the case may be, fashion is easy to come back, especially with so many retailers that prepare for holidays like this. The only way youll be able to find the perfect gift on the fashion front is by staying aware, which is something that names like Christina DiMauro Kelly can attest as well.

Fashion is a great choice for Valentines Day, as Christina Kelly will tell you, but its far from the only one. As a matter of fact, your loved one might be looking to get a new smartphone, but hasnt gotten around to doing so due to a lack of funds. This is where you can swoop in and get them an upgrade, allowing them to keep up with others. A new, shiny piece of technology can make for a fun surprise this Valentines Day.

Lets say that you are still stuck on what to give your loved for Valentines Day; maybe this is where a gift basket can come into effect. One of the best things about a gift basket is that you can customize it in any fashion youd like. You might even want to incorporate the gift ideas covered earlier, to various degrees, in order to put together the finest basket. By doing so, youll be able to make this years Valentines Day all the more special.

Flowers and chocolate are common Valentines Day gift, but some people tend to think outside of the box. If youd like to make this holiday as enjoyable as possible for the person you love, keep the previous options in mind. Not only will they show creativity on your end, but that you care about the things they enjoy. This should be a holiday to enjoy, and you can clearly see that there are many ways to go about this particular endeavor as well.

I Get Tired Just Reading Your Personal Ad

0

Friday, June 11th, 2010

Better use for a Great Wall of China cannon

It has been such a whirlwind lately that Ive just about lost my voice, so forgive me for not posting sooner. After seeing Tears for Fears in Manila & visiting the Great Wall of China en route to the States, we did a 3 week tour of the South, seeing family & friends in Georgia, S. & N. Carolina, I did my FIRST Teacher Training EVER in San Diego & now, were home in LA for the summer. Boy, do I need a breather!

I hope to see many of you in my LIVE workshops this summer in LA, including the upcoming Releasing Intensive on Saturday, June 26th.

People often ask me about personal ads as though getting it right is the Holy Grail. Read on to find out my response.

I Get Tired Just Reading Your Personal Ad

I read the funniest blog the other day, complaining about the high octane personal ads that sound exhausting. The writer just wanted to go lie down.

This brings to mind a false assumption many believe about dating. Compatibility is a fake idea. Seriously! Studies show over & over that what people say they want and what they actually want are two different things. There is more of a chemistry/soul recognition happening than someone who looks good on paper in each instance.

So, take the pressure off of getting your personal ad perfect or ticking off a list of qualities with each prospective partner. Better to just be in a good mood while writing your ad and abandon loading it up with all your activities.

And as far as dating goes, look for an initial connection. It doesn’t have to be complete excitement at first, because for some chemistry opens up gradually. But you have to have some attraction, which is an indicator there may be something there.

Valentines SOS

0

Are you single and kind of dreading Valentines Day? You are not alone. I have tons of emails every year from people in your same boat so take comfort from that. Id like to help by reminding you of the following:

1. Valentines Day was created by a chocolate company! It is a manufactured holiday and while, yes, its fun to send love reminders to people, it is JUST ANOTHER DAY. When you are in love, you celebrate regularly and dont need a special day to remind you. And when youre single, you may think, "bah, humbug!" and thats just fine.

2. The majority of Valentines and even flowers go out to non-sweethearts. More flowers and remembrances are sent and received by students, teachers and family members than by romantic partners. So claim this holiday for YOU whether youve met a romantic soulmate or not. And remember that there are nonromantic soulmates such as pets, parents, friends, children and even siblings so tap into that love energy which connects you to the same unconditional love that you will feel when you come together with your One.

3. Make a point to send out love to the soulmate you havent met yet. Buy them a card to give them later or spend a few moments thinking of them and sending a message to them on the inner.

4. Every one of us has been the only office worker NOT to receive flowers on an occasion. This day is in NO way a competition to see if youre loved or not. Of COURSE you are! So remove your ego from being in such a competition and if anyone wants to rub it in, feel bad for them that they would need to resort to such a low vibe.

5. When you are with your One, it will make up for EVERY bad Valentines day you ever had. If this one isnt that great, it will get healed in the future, I promise!

Have a good one, and I bless you for love beyond your wildest dreams!

love,
Kathryn

Sailing in Cabo

Whew, am I glad to be home after 8 weeks of almost constant travel: Vegas, San Diego, Cabo, San Francisco, Seattle & Alaska! I have barely left the house in a few days. I cannot complain because Alaska was breath-taking and fun, and it was SO nice to meet many of you this summer during my teaching tour.

Flying Over Mt. McKinley (with oxygen!)

It is quite a summer. We’ve got a lot of engagements, weddings, pregnancies and babies from my followers, including one close to home – a wonderful wedding of someone I love who at age 53, is getting married for the first time, and it is a FAIRY TALE!

Read on for some inspiration. I asked a single friend what would help her the most in keeping the faith, and she said she wanted some hopeful stories. So that’s what you’ll find below.

Meanwhile, if you are new to my work and want to keep going with it or just need a boost, look for our 72 Hour Summer Sale next week. We don’t have that many sales, and they’re always juicy with big savings [put link to Shop page here] and some bonuses thrown in.

And if you’d like to go more portable – not waiting until retirement to take your dream trips – then sign up for the FREE teleseminar. I’m doing in a few weeks with my husband Jon for our Portable Lifestyle [do general link to website] company. Sign up here [link again]

Have a wonderful end of summer!

Soulmate Miracles

• From the 84 year old who recently got married to the very overweight woman fielding 3 proposals to the person with cancer complete with a bald head falling in love and then becoming cancer-free – I have lots of evidence that love knows no bounds.

• If you have been telling yourself the most common lie I’ve seen – that somehow you are left out of love – then, you will be hard put to find evidence to back that up. No, you are not the only single person in the universe who wants love but is somehow left out.

• Remember that if you have a desire for love in your heart, then you get it. You are not meant for love to dangle in front of you, always out of reach.

• You’ve simply given up too easily. But no matter your age, your physical situation or any other false limit you concoct, love is still yours. Those of us who have to wait longer get the very BEST love stories in the end and also get to be happiest, because it’s something we’ll never take for granted.

• My charge to you is to look for the hope. Gather love stories – from my work and anywhere you can – to bring you back to faith. Look for signs to tell you that love is coming for you, and you will see them everywhere. As you gain even a glimmer of reassurance, you will be in the arms of your “person” before you know it. I bless you for just that!

To dive into this work and make love happen faster, look for our 72 Hour Sale August 7 – 9 for some MAJOR savings and bonuses not gained any other way. It’s the perfect time to get the effective 30 Day Soulmate Bootcamp at big discount.

Heartbreak Corner: Release is All You Need

Love is like a cork you are somehow keeping down. All it takes is letting go of any attachment – to bad beliefs, despair and most especially to a person – to have that cork rise and love to appear.

I got reminded of this a few years ago when I was a keynote speaker at a conference. I was walking through the corridor, and I heard someone yelling to me “Kathryn, KATHRYN!” I slowed down and turned to see a women hurrying over to me with a toddler on her hip.

Breathlessly, she thanked me for my Releasing a PersonCD. She pointed to the child she was carrying (at which point I noticed she was pregnant, too!), explaining that he would not exist if not for my releasing work. It turns out she had been in a tortuous long-term, frustrating relationship when someone gave her my CD. She listened to it for 2 weeks straight and could feel herself shifting out of the miserable attachment, at long last.

A month later, she met her husband, and they quickly moved into a relationship so drama-free and amazing that it took a while for her to realize that it wasn’t too good to be true. The rest has been history. Commitment, engagement, marriage, a baby, another on the way, and happiness that she confessed she could not have dreamed of while in that bad relationship.

Moral of Story: no matter how hopeless you have been, a new beginning awaits you just on the other side of attachment. You just need to let go for that cork to bob right up to the surface.

Our Ultimate Release Superkit will be on sale during the upcoming 72 Hour Sale, and this comprehensive program of release -- which includes the Releasing a Person CD -- has worked on even the most painful and engrained attachment. If you need it, plan to get it at big discount during next week’s brief sale.

The HARDEST Part of Dating

0

After working with tens of thousands of people for years on dating issues, I have no doubt what the most difficult aspect of dating is. It is so painful for some that they eschew dating altogether even if it means they won’t find love.

THE ANSWER: The not knowing as you go through the process. Yes, being vulnerable, a requirement for love, and not being able to foresee how love will show up drives people mad. And for no good reason!

How to get over this serious difficulty? Change your thinking about it.

1. Realize it’s exhilarating. Part of the excitement of falling in love is the unpredictability and the anticipation. No one would skip this part when they finally meet their One.

2. Deepen your faith. Remind yourself that love is a done deal for you and will show up in the perfect way (even if your love life looks DOA right now). It will make this process less maddening. You do get love for sure – remember that!

3. Remember: that you can’t skip the process but the end result is worth it. 99% of those I work with would probably skip dating if they could and just go get married (seriously). But of course, this isnt possible. Even if the next person you date is your soulmate (& by all means, affirm this if it’s what you want), you still have to undergo the getting-to-know-you phase, otherwise known as dating.

I bless you for finding an easy way to date – the payoff is worth it!

Talk to you soon!

love,
Kathryn

Reasons For Doing An Alcohol Assessment Minneapolis MN

0

By Dennis Reed

An assessment is carried out by licensed counselors on alcohol and drug abuse. The alcohol assessment Minneapolis MN is carried out to check the dependency levels emanating from the continued usage of the product. It is one of the simplest process to take consuming about one and or two hours to full completion.

Process initiation. The relative, friend or the drug addict can initiate the process. This is as a result of growing concern from the continued excessive consumption of alcohol. An attorney acting for the client can request for this service. During court proceedings, the judge may give an order for the accused to be assessed. This is to enable him make a determination on the case.

In the Minneapolis MN city, highly trained doctors offer these services. They are guided by the ulterior goal of attaining quality services. They approach the situation by helping the addict recover through embracing a comprehensive behavior change. They have the skills that are required in the fight against excessive alcohol consumption. This will help the client not to take the substance in the future. This is made possible by the high academic qualifications that are possessed by the staff.

Phases of assessment. They are different phases that are used to capture the complexity of drug abuse. Any complete method should focus on these four main areas. The social factors, the psychological factors, the behavioral and the physiological factors. The client preparedness to change should also be analyzed.

The assessments are brought about by the health hazards that the excessive consumption poses to the user. This includes the low quality of life resulting from the dependent drinking. At this level, the client will not confess of being an addict. Any force that is driven towards helping a person to fully stop consuming is met with the harsh withdrawal symptoms. These will include sweating, hand tremors and depression.

The city of Minneapolis MN has various doctors. Most of whom are trained and have specialized in this field. They are highly trained with some having as high as PhDs. Locating them is very easy as some can be found in their respective places of work. Those who operate big firms have created website that enables communication with the user. Due to increase in the level of technology, an online assessment can be done.

The modes of payments. The payment for these services are varied. Different people will ask for different fees. The client should therefore ensure that the amount being paid commensurate the service rendered. This will help avoid an overcharge or undercharge. The best price will be the one agreed upon by the two parties through a consensus.

Adherence. The instructions of the doctor should be followed to the letter. This is the only assured way of success. The addict should avoid alcoholic drinks by all means possible. This will include being busy at all times. In all his undertakings, he should exercise high discipline levels.

Security v Excitement

0

So many lament to me that they either seem to meet someone solid to date or someone exciting, elusive and erratic. It can seem like a standoff between a safety blanket versus wild chemistry. I have a strong opinion on this.

I simply do not believe in tradeoffs. In love, it does not have to be one or the other. Love knows no limited. You CAN have it all. If you find yourself dating either someone dull to you or someone exciting but unavailable, it is most likely that you’re simply not with your soulmate yet. Your soulmate will be someone with whom you have a solid relationship that remains exciting.

Here’s how to discern your best course to soulmate love:

1. If the exciting person you long for is not exhibiting similar enthusiasm for you, let go. Have faith that someone who is both fascinating and crazy over you is in your future. It’s much easier than banging your head against the wall of unavailability.

2. If you’re dating someone who seems solid, secure but a bit boring, don’t give up on it quite yet. Try doing some exciting things together, go deeper in conversation and then gage if the relationship feels dynamic. If it is, the jury should remain out. Sometimes as people open up, the excitement factor heightens.

3. Remember that you never have to settle – for either someone who is boring OR unavailable. Your soulmate will offer you a safe, secure relationship that is also exciting. Be willing to hold out for THAT person. (S)he will be worth the wait.

love,
Kathryn

Dating Out of Your League

0

A term that you often hear in the singles world is dating "out of your league". If you’ve been doing my work for a while, you can predict what I’m about to say.

There is no such thing as dating out of your league. We are all equals and any concept that negates that truth is doomed to fail. But too many buy into it, getting intimidated by someone they find hot (who by the way, is MOST LIKELY to be your soulmate). Thinking this way needlessly delays love.

The most effective thing you can do to come together with your soulmate is to get RID of limited thinking like this – it can hold you back. How?

1. Shore up your self-esteem. The more you elevate your sense of self-worth (as opposed to tearing your love interest down, something that some dating systems advocate!), the easier it will be to approach and connect with someone you find attractive.

2. Strive to see those you have deemed intimidating as human, just like you. They’re breathing the same air, need to be heard and may just be your soulmate, since one indicator of soulmate love is crackling chemistry.

3. Don’t cast yourself as undeserving feeling like you have to EARN love or bend over backwards to make it work. You deserve love just by your very existence and working for it sets up a bad dynamic.

4. Get USED to connecting with those you find hot. Look into their eyes, give a little smile, perhaps a wink and even say something. The more you practice, the more you’ll be able to realize that no one is ever too good for you.

love,
Kathryn

Julian and Me in a Caribbean Cave

It has been a whirlwind of a month that saw us leaving Antigua to spend our last two weeks in the Caribbean in the Virgin Islands. Six islands in two weeks might have been pushing it but it was great! Then, back to the US after 5 months in the Caribbean to attend my firstborn, Calvins, college graduation in Monterey (congrats, honey!) and then it was off to Las Vegas to warm up.

Happy Valentines Day!

I hope you are having a wonderful day! For singles, Valentines Day often brings up sadness and feeling left out. But take heart -- your Valentine may not be here yet, but when (s)he shows up, it will make up for every disappointing V. Day youve had.

Heres a video from me to give you something quite uplifting you can do today. And when people follow my directions, they end up actually giving the gift or card to their One. One woman bought a wedding dress which she hung in her room :-). And while her friends laughed, she ended up wearing that garment down the aisle to marry her soulmate.

I hope youll spread the love today, and honor yourself, too.
