Valentines SOS

0

Are you single and kind of dreading Valentines Day? You are not alone. I have tons of emails every year from people in your same boat so take comfort from that. Id like to help by reminding you of the following:

1. Valentines Day was created by a chocolate company! It is a manufactured holiday and while, yes, its fun to send love reminders to people, it is JUST ANOTHER DAY. When you are in love, you celebrate regularly and dont need a special day to remind you. And when youre single, you may think, "bah, humbug!" and thats just fine.

2. The majority of Valentines and even flowers go out to non-sweethearts. More flowers and remembrances are sent and received by students, teachers and family members than by romantic partners. So claim this holiday for YOU whether youve met a romantic soulmate or not. And remember that there are nonromantic soulmates such as pets, parents, friends, children and even siblings so tap into that love energy which connects you to the same unconditional love that you will feel when you come together with your One.

3. Make a point to send out love to the soulmate you havent met yet. Buy them a card to give them later or spend a few moments thinking of them and sending a message to them on the inner.

4. Every one of us has been the only office worker NOT to receive flowers on an occasion. This day is in NO way a competition to see if youre loved or not. Of COURSE you are! So remove your ego from being in such a competition and if anyone wants to rub it in, feel bad for them that they would need to resort to such a low vibe.

5. When you are with your One, it will make up for EVERY bad Valentines day you ever had. If this one isnt that great, it will get healed in the future, I promise!

Have a good one, and I bless you for love beyond your wildest dreams!

love,
Kathryn

Cruising around Boracay while our eldest, Calvin, visited in January

Feb 11, 2010

It has been a WHIRLWIND lately and sorry I havent written. We had the BEST time in my soldout Deliberate Creation Telecourse, and Ive just returned to Boracay from Australia, where I taught a few packed workshops and did some interviews.

When it is SO snowy in the U.S., I wish you all could don your bikinis and join us here in the sun.

It is almost Valentines Day and so of course, Im doing lots of media and want to remind you that even if youre single it can be an enjoyable day.

So, heres my popular video on the subject:

An Inspiring Love Story

0

Oct 5, 2012

The Kiawawas, As Were Called :-)

Have I got a good story for you! I’m flying high right now, looking forward to weekend guests coming in today and four days of festivities, celebrating a very special wedding.

Every year a group of my high school buddies (we went to an all girl Episcopal school) reunite on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. We’ve marked all sort of life changes and milestones together and shared good times over the years.

Below is the story of one of them, and I know you’ll find it inspiring.

On another note, we’ve scheduled another Love Breakthrough Intensive in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks. The last one (in May) of these small groups filled up before I was ever able to let you guys know about it. If you’ve needed personal support from me or are ready for a breakthrough, this is a rare chance. Find out more here while we’ve got space.

See you soon!

Love,
Kathryn

The Happy Couple!
 An Inspiring Story

This story is about the wedding I’m attending this weekend, and the bride. She is 52 and has never been married until now.

She’s one of our group, and many years she felt that as we brought photos of babies and family news, she just had nothing to share. I felt for her and told her that her time would come.

She had always wanted children and was sure that this had passed her by, too. A successful actress with a vivacious personality, she worried she was too much for a guy to handle. She travels often, lives large and has boundless energy.

Her love life started getting more active. She had two false starts. For the first time, she found herself in two serious relationships in a row. Neither worked out, but she was creating a template of what it is like to be in a relationship, a novelty for this free spirit. And she was getting clearer on what would work for her and what wouldn’t.

Then, she met her guy. A widower with a small girl, he was everything she wanted. The first time I met him – on Venice Beach – I thought he was a camp counselor, he looked so young and in shape. She seemed younger with him. And he could keep up with her. A successful philanthropist and radio show host, he is always going on exciting trips, getting awards, exploring the world just like she enjoys doing.

And his girl! My friend has always been amazing with children, and she bonded quickly with her future child, taking her side, the girl’s point of view and doing special things for her.

This friend had to get used to a man adoring her and “getting” her. He lights up under the glow of her bubbly personality, sees how radiantly beautiful she is and brings out more of her wit as he appreciates every bit of her. Her independence does not threaten him but intrigues him.

It took her a while to trust that this was real, and he wasn’t going anywhere. It took him a while to convince her to marry him. But this weekend, it is happening. She has worn a beautiful engagement ring for a year now. They have remodeled his house in anticipation of her moving in. They had engagement parties in New York and Los Angeles. And now, the big day is here.

Our gals are all flying in from the East, some staying in our guest house. Now, our good friend has the best news of us all, far outstripping any of our previous news.

It’s been a long time coming, and today, I celebrate her and her groom. If you have worried that love has passed you by or if there really could be the right one for you, then take heart. Maybe you’re next! But one thing is for sure. You, too, get love, someone who gets you and who is the perfect fit.

Upcoming Events

As I conduct my sold-out “Date for Your Soulmate” Telecourse this fall, I don’t have much else slated.

However, we’ve scheduled another LOVE BEAKTHROUGH INTENSIVE in LA in 2 weeks. The first one sold out before we ever got to inform those on my list. Because these events are so small, there is not a lot of room, so check it out now if you have needed more personal attention from me to support you in what you want in your life. The Intensive is a VERY small group half-day with me plus two private phone sessions.

The Eel

0

The Eel

Some of the worst cases of attachment Ive seen come from people who got hooked by THE EEL.

Definition of The Eel: someone who seems in your grasp, but then slithers away just when you thought it was going somewhere, only to reappear again as you give up hope.

This is akin to the mouse-cheese experiment I talk about in my Releasing a Person CD. The mouse would hurt itself when sporadically offered the cheese, whereas both the mouse who regularly got cheese and who never got cheese accepted the situation calmly.

If you are being distracted by an eel, I invite you to adopt my rule concerning eels. Dont touch! Eels seem to somehow NEED to keep you dangling, and it can be terribly exciting playing this game, but it doesn’t produce a soulmate relationship.

My Advice: recognize when youre swimming after an eel and change course. Yes, letting go of the hope will hurt, but every time someone swims in a different direction while doing my work, they end up finding their soulmate quickly. If you keep your eye on the love ahead waiting for you, it will make the release much easier.

If you are in doubt about whether it can work out or not (and in most cases, you are simply in denial), I suggest this technique for seeing if this relationship is salvageable.

• When the suspected eel lets you down -- disappears, doesn’t call when (s)he says, suddenly wants to cool things down -- give him or her notice. You can do this playfully, so it doesn’t become heavy, but draw a boundary here. “Flakes are just not my favorite cereal, if you get my drift. I’m liable to brunch elsewhere if it gets too flaky around here.” This takes back your power, while keeping it light.

• Keep track with a three strike maximum limit. If eel-like behavior shows up three times, this is a trend. It’s too much to ignore. Unless you want to continue in a frustrating, uphill battle to make this person become reliable, I would bail at this point.

• Do some release work, and remind yourself that your soulmate will leave no doubt that they want to be with you and they will be even hotter to you than the eel has been.

Love & support,
Kathryn

Sailing in Cabo

Whew, am I glad to be home after 8 weeks of almost constant travel: Vegas, San Diego, Cabo, San Francisco, Seattle & Alaska! I have barely left the house in a few days. I cannot complain because Alaska was breath-taking and fun, and it was SO nice to meet many of you this summer during my teaching tour.

Flying Over Mt. McKinley (with oxygen!)

It is quite a summer. We’ve got a lot of engagements, weddings, pregnancies and babies from my followers, including one close to home – a wonderful wedding of someone I love who at age 53, is getting married for the first time, and it is a FAIRY TALE!

Read on for some inspiration. I asked a single friend what would help her the most in keeping the faith, and she said she wanted some hopeful stories. So that’s what you’ll find below.

Meanwhile, if you are new to my work and want to keep going with it or just need a boost, look for our 72 Hour Summer Sale next week. We don’t have that many sales, and they’re always juicy with big savings [put link to Shop page here] and some bonuses thrown in.

And if you’d like to go more portable – not waiting until retirement to take your dream trips – then sign up for the FREE teleseminar. I’m doing in a few weeks with my husband Jon for our Portable Lifestyle [do general link to website] company. Sign up here [link again]

Have a wonderful end of summer!

Kathryn

Soulmate Miracles

• From the 84 year old who recently got married to the very overweight woman fielding 3 proposals to the person with cancer complete with a bald head falling in love and then becoming cancer-free – I have lots of evidence that love knows no bounds.

• If you have been telling yourself the most common lie I’ve seen – that somehow you are left out of love – then, you will be hard put to find evidence to back that up. No, you are not the only single person in the universe who wants love but is somehow left out.

• Remember that if you have a desire for love in your heart, then you get it. You are not meant for love to dangle in front of you, always out of reach.

• You’ve simply given up too easily. But no matter your age, your physical situation or any other false limit you concoct, love is still yours. Those of us who have to wait longer get the very BEST love stories in the end and also get to be happiest, because it’s something we’ll never take for granted.

• My charge to you is to look for the hope. Gather love stories – from my work and anywhere you can – to bring you back to faith. Look for signs to tell you that love is coming for you, and you will see them everywhere. As you gain even a glimmer of reassurance, you will be in the arms of your “person” before you know it. I bless you for just that!

To dive into this work and make love happen faster, look for our 72 Hour Sale August 7 – 9 for some MAJOR savings and bonuses not gained any other way. It’s the perfect time to get the effective 30 Day Soulmate Bootcamp at big discount.

Heartbreak Corner: Release is All You Need

Love is like a cork you are somehow keeping down. All it takes is letting go of any attachment – to bad beliefs, despair and most especially to a person – to have that cork rise and love to appear.

I got reminded of this a few years ago when I was a keynote speaker at a conference. I was walking through the corridor, and I heard someone yelling to me “Kathryn, KATHRYN!” I slowed down and turned to see a women hurrying over to me with a toddler on her hip.

Breathlessly, she thanked me for my Releasing a PersonCD. She pointed to the child she was carrying (at which point I noticed she was pregnant, too!), explaining that he would not exist if not for my releasing work. It turns out she had been in a tortuous long-term, frustrating relationship when someone gave her my CD. She listened to it for 2 weeks straight and could feel herself shifting out of the miserable attachment, at long last.

A month later, she met her husband, and they quickly moved into a relationship so drama-free and amazing that it took a while for her to realize that it wasn’t too good to be true. The rest has been history. Commitment, engagement, marriage, a baby, another on the way, and happiness that she confessed she could not have dreamed of while in that bad relationship.

Moral of Story: no matter how hopeless you have been, a new beginning awaits you just on the other side of attachment. You just need to let go for that cork to bob right up to the surface.

Our Ultimate Release Superkit will be on sale during the upcoming 72 Hour Sale, and this comprehensive program of release -- which includes the Releasing a Person CD -- has worked on even the most painful and engrained attachment. If you need it, plan to get it at big discount during next week’s brief sale.

Read on to find out my take on competition in love. And I hope to see you somewhere or another next week!

Love,
Kathryn

Competition in Love

I once worked with a woman who grew up on competition. She was a competitive swimmer as a teen from an over achieving family, and everything was turned into a horse race.

Sure enough, when it came to love, it always seemed that she was vying for a guy’s attention. Yet more proof that what you BELIEVE acts as true until you adopt a better belief.

The fact is that competition and love don’t mix. Even the IDEA of competition in love puts you at the lowest rung of attraction – one where soulmate love can’t happen – something you well know if you’ve ever heard me teach my 3 Levels of Attraction material (a recording that comes with the Soulmate Bootcamp.)

Competition will not produce soulmate love. Period. So with this client, we had to work on getting rid of a deeply engrained paradigm surrounding competing. Over and over again, we reiterated the fact that her soulmate would see only her. No one else would stand a chance with this hunk.

One date told her she was not as pretty as his ex. Out the door he went!

Another seemed to get off on pitting her against other females. Next!

Finally, a very attractive man made no bones about the fact that he was into her. She could not believe the “luck,” and had to get used to his undivided attention. He outshone anyone she had ever dated, and finally, she knew for sure that competing was not a part of real love. The two are now married.

To learn more about the 3 Levels of Attraction, don’t miss my rare, free live workshop on Saturday, Nov 17th in Venice, California. To find out where and when, visit this link:

(Just show up but come early -- there will be a crowd)

Heartbreak Corner: The Ex is Dating

While we are on the subject of competition, let’s talk about how this relates to your ex. So many I’ve worked with have made the mistake of thinking that their ex’s new love has something they don’t. They compare themselves unfavorably and feel inadequate.

Remember this: there is no rejection, just the wrong fit. If your ex was not your soulmate, it would never have worked out. There is nothing wrong with you! And you are not less-than!

If you have thought this or are thinking it now, work on your insecurities. You need to see how precious and lovable you are.  And once you are with your soulmate, you’ll see that in his or eyes, you can do no wrong.

Let me quote my old therapist Joyce Arohnson: “don’t let anyone take away your self-image.” Recovering from heartbreak is bad enough but piling on false ideas of your own inadequacy can produce needless misery.

I invite you to remember that you are more than enough, and a break-up has nothing to do with your supposed flaws.

In a Relationship? Jealousy

A little jealousy can spice things up in a relationship. A LOT of jealousy means you’re insecure: particularly when your mate is giving you no reason to be green-eyed. Rather than get suspicious or ask for reassurance from your mate, curing jealousy is an inside job. Work on shoring up your own self-image.

Remember why your love fell for you in the first place. List the many reasons others have said they adore you. Add in your achievements and the things folks say make you special. Make note of all of the good times youve shared so far with your One, and regularly remind yourself: "I am a catch. Im perfect, lovable and more than enough."

Overcoming jealousy can take some doing. Chip away at it, and you will gain new faith in both yourself and your love.

Breaking a Bad Dating Pattern

0

If you are ready for love and need to ditch an old dating pattern, now is a perfect time to set that intention.

If you have had a bad dating pattern – like going for unavailable or hurtful people, having chemistry with those who are bad for you or being closed due to past hurt – you are not alone. I have worked with thousands of people with similar patterns, and it has been gratifying to watch them dissolve unproductive patterns to date for their soulmate.

There is a way to shift your preferences and get rid of sabotaging dating habits once & for all.

1. See reality and know you can do SO much better. If someone isn’t completely in to you, admit it. If someone pulls you down or creates misery for you, admit it. No longer try to romanticize something that is undeserving of you and vow to wait for better: a mutual, supportive love.

2. See yourself better. As you realize how special and sacred you really are, you will no longer allow anything unworthy of you. You will have better boundaries, not accept someone who treats you casually or worse, puts you down. You will no longer get hooked into an “eel” or waste time with someone who is not The One, keeping yourself free & available for your soulmate.

3. Imagine yourself with soulmate love. The key to moving beyond your past, what you have known so far, and into true love is to make where you are going more real than where you are now. Fantasize about what you want and keep it in mind so you won’t be tempted to settle.

As you shift, the people you experience chemistry with will change. And the reality of the love you GET will outshine even the richest fantasy you’ve had about someone from your past. (This is why people who do my work describe constant “pinch me” moments as they manifest soulmate love!) Keep your eye on the prize and it will materialize much sooner than if you continue to spin your wheels.

love,
Kathryn

9/30/10

Hi! Vacationing AFTER Labor Day is the best. It’s peaceful and uncrowded. We are still in Palm Springs soaking up the sun, taking a breath after a busy summer and deciding our next moves in life. Triple digit temps are forcing us to have what we call "three bathing suit days:" hours in the pools & lazy river. Hot weather is not so bad when you can just throw on a bikini and go swim.

Fall has arrived and you can probably feel change in the air (well, except that summer has FINALLY just arrived in SoCal - LOL!) School has started, we’re all getting back to work and it’s a chance for a fresh start.

A Soulmate for Christmas

0

December 12, 2009

The holidays here on Boracay are very different. Santa and Christmas lights are juxtaposed with 80 kitesurfers, 20 windsurfers, a handful of snorkelers and a few boats out the window.

Julian puts the "little mommy," as he calls it atop our tree w/ dads help

We have a FAKE tree (no real ones here), that we had to island hop to obtain, and the kids are loving it like its the real thing. 3 year-old Julian is really "getting" about Christmas now and every day he asks, "Is Santa coming today?"

A SOULMATE FOR CHRISTMAS

Are you ready for soulmate love ASAP?

I have a suggestion. It may sound crazy but believe me, I’ve seen crazier and it all WORKED! When it comes to love, doing something different can be helpful.

SO the suggestion? Give yourself a soulmate for Christmas. Seriously. You’ll be hearing more about DELIBERATE CREATION from me in the coming weeks, but giving yourself a soulmate is an example of it.

How?

1. Buy yourself a present or make one that represents your soulmate. It could be a fake engagement ring, a photo of a person you find hot (though of course don’t start thinking it has to be this exact person – just this or something better), or something else symbolizing your special present.

2. Wrap up the gift and put a note on it: “from me to me” or “to me, from the Universe.” Like that.

3. Unwrap the gift on Christmas or whichever holiday you celebrate.

4. Say to yourself: “This is it. It’s done!” and do FEEL it.

5. Get excited!

(If you are already with someone but it has problems, then give your partner this gift and vow to elevate it into soulmate love!)

It may sound corny, but this stuff works. Ask the many people who did something like this (even in a big-time dramatic way, which you know if you’ve heard me on the radio lately).

Now, your job is to skip through the holidays knowing that the love of your life awaits you.

Have a wonderful holiday season, and relish your cold weather. It is 80 degrees here every day and while its lovely, we do miss winter season for the holidays (a tiny bit).

love,
Kathryn

Soulmate Level

0

Soulmate level is the place you want to be in your energy & in your expectations to attract the love of your life (and nothing else). Once you open to it, the fastest way to manifest is to keep it at that level. Many of you who write without instant manifestation have reverted to old ways, where soulmate love is less likely to happen.

Here are tips on how to stay at Soulmate Level:

 1. Stay hopeful. When you first are exposed to my work, you get very positive about love. Unfortunately, friends can naysay you into doubt again. Or your own pattern of negativity may reassert itself. Continue to find tools to stay upbeat about love and you will remain a powerful beacon of light for your One.

2. Continue to release anything that has blocked or delayed love from you. Likely culprits are an old love you’re hanging onto, limiting beliefs about romance or a pattern of self-judgment. If you’re done any of my work, you know how to release. Keep re-releasing until any delay is gone.

3. Don’t look too hard or do back flips for soulmate love. If you are trying to be everywhere to increase your chances for romance or doing soulmate exercises to the point of exhaustion, you are working it to the point of disconnect. Be mellow, do what is fun and remember there are no odds about soulmate love because it is not random chance that brings you together. It is a magnetization that cannot be denied.

4. Quit digging up that plant! For most who do my work, soulmate love shows up out of nowhere. One minute it looks like a dating desert, the next minute you are happily in love. So if you bothered to go by “appearance” and got discouraged because nothing had shown up yet, you wasted your time. In fact, you can shoot yourself in the foot by digging up the plant too early to see if it’s blossoming. In others, making an assessment that it hasn’t happened and concluding it won’t is counterproductive because you get discouraged. Better to see with the eyes of faith, notice how positive you remain and conclude that change is happening on the inner NOW and love is on its way to you.

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Hi! I’m just about to celebrate a major birthday. Family are flying in each day and we are taking the party to Palm Springs this weekend. But I wanted to say “hi” and give a shoutout to the many of you who just discovered my work at Agape’s bursting-at-the-seams workshop last Friday (150 people showed up).

Now that you’re open to soulmate love, read on to find out how to keep it at that level.

Summer is heating up, and I bless you for a hot love life!

 love & support,

 Kathryn
